At Truly Assam, we take immense pride in the quality and authenticity of our teas. Every product is carefully selected and packed to ensure that you receive nothing short of excellence. However, in the rare event that your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we’re here to help—through an exchange process only.
Please read our policy below to understand how we handle such situations
1. No Return / No Refund Policy
Due to the perishable nature of our tea products and to maintain the highest hygiene standards, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for any purchases made through our website www.trulyassamtea.com.
We do not entertain returns or refunds for the following reasons:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Personal taste preferences
- Opened or partially used products
- Orders placed during sales or promotional periods (unless damaged/incorrect)
2. Eligibility for Exchange
We offer exchange only in the following situations:
- Damaged Product: If the product you receive is damaged in transit.
- Incorrect Product: If you receive a product different from what was originally ordered.
To be eligible for an exchange, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Required for exchange request:
- Clear photographic evidence of the damaged or incorrect item
- Your order number and contact details
3. How to Request an Exchange
To initiate an exchange, please follow these steps:

- Upon review and approval, we will:
- Issue an Exchange Authorization with instructions
- Arrange for return pickup or provide a prepaid shipping label (for eligible cases)
4. Exchange Fulfillment
- If approved, the replacement will be dispatched within 3–5 business days, subject to product availability.
- All exchanges are subject to inspection upon return. If the product is found not to meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., used, tampered), the exchange may be declined.
5. Shipping Costs
- Damaged or Incorrect Products: We will bear the full shipping cost for both return and replacement.
- Other Cases: No exchanges or returns will be entertained outside of the above conditions.
